The following tax list is the complete listing of property owners in Surry County (at that time included present day Yadkin County) persons is an exact copy of the hand written original. However, only the number of acres owned by an individual and the number of white polls are listed here. Black polls, town lots, the numbers of the lots, retailer listings, and the number of studs have not been included. There are twelve separate districts, and the names are arranged alphabetically within each distric, but not past the initial letter of the last or family name.
