Walter Sparger Store
The Walter Sparger store collection is a collection of materials pertaining to the operation of the general store located in Beulah (N.C.). The collection includes newspaper clippings- photographs-obituaries- letters and advertisements. Walter Creasy Sparger owned and operated Sparger's General Merchandise and Exxon from 1927 until the 1960s. He was also postmaster of the Bottom Post Office. -
