This history of Snow Hill Baptist was compiled by Phillip White, Church Clerk, in 2022. Since there were virtually no written records in existence of the Church’s early years from
its organization in 1904 until 1944, the information presented for those years are from the memories of former Church members, their descendants, and others in the community.
From the year 1944 to the present, there are written records in the forms of Clerk’s Books, Treasurer’s Financial Reports, Sunday School Records, Mitchell River Associational Minutes
Booklets, etc., so we are confident in the accuracy of information contained in the history from that period.
