Flyer for a jackpot give-away at the Pilot Theatre and Pilot Drive-In Theatre
The Pilot Theatre was open in 1940. It could seat 205 patrons. The theatre was closed in the mid to late-1950’s.

The Pilot Drive-In opened prior to 1955 located in the town of Pilot Mountain, N.C. It parked 225 cars and was operated by two local bankers, J. Wick Gordon and Joseph Pell. The Pilot Drive-In finally closed in December of 1985 and was demolished. The Howell-Nelson Funeral Services & Crematory was built on the site of the old drive-in.
