key ring souvenir from Haymore's Texaco Service and Truck Stop
Item
Description
key ring souvenir given out by Haymore's Texaco Service and Truck Stop on Highway 52 in Mount Airy (N.C.) This service station was owned by brothers Glenn Reeves Haymore and Joe Carlie Haymore who were partners for over 40 years. This belonged to Wade Moody who ran Moody Funeral Home. For many years Moodys was the only emergency medical service for auto accidents and other disasters. Employees for Moody's were given a special key to a gas tank so they could fill up in an emergency on their way to Winston Salem.
