Earlist known book recording the activities of the Mount Airy Fire Department. Includes lists of department members and their attendance at meetings, receipts for department expenses, and records of how many fires were reported and fought, and minutes of regular meetings. This book also includes an account of the first fire attended by the newly formed Mount Airy Hose Company as well as their constitution and by-laws. *NOTE* Blank pages were not scanned. A loose receipt was found in the pages of the book, it is included at the end of the PDF.
